I have researched, written and spoken about the great achievements that we think of as projects and the way that many, in history, have taken a price in human lives.
In addition to many articles I have spoken about these topics at conferences, evenings both formal and informal and other events of many kinds.
Because history is peppered with projects that are fascinating, awe inspiring, surprising and full of anecdotes, these talks always end with questions and comments and a round of applause.
